The Traveling Teacup is an educational tea branding project—specific to places I have either been to or have friends living in—that is a celebration of different cultures and their tea practices. Tea itself has a long history of travel and connection between global cultures, which made it the perfect form to display an exploration of travel documentation and became a love letter to my specific experiences of the places. Being both informative as well as practical, the packages feature the history and culture surrounding tea in Japan, England, and Scotland. The packaging invites the consumer to slow down and reflect on their own experiences of travel, tea, language, and culture.
